what party and candidates actually support mj use?

some are completely against it, others don't want to mess with WOD and some are just generally for lowering crime rates. is there any party/people out there that actually proudly support the use of marijuana? i want to know because i don't hear about it too often. this years competition for presidents suck ass so i'm going to vote for those that aren't so high on the popularity or spotlight scale. thanks.

mainly interested in those who have high environmentalist interests and pot smoking support. basically open minded and knows what they are talking about. will appreciate the shed of light. thanks. :stoned:

They dont support 'use', but the Libertarian party supports leaving people alone to do what they like.

National Review has long called for an end to the war on drugs, which is different from promoting their use.

You'll find individuals in both major parties who are for decrim, but both parties are officially supporting prohibition.

New Mexico had a governor who was for decrim (Gary Johnson, IIRC), but he's gone now.

As Wing said, the Libertarian Party and it's Presidential Candidate, Michael Badnarik, are for an end to the destructive and idiotic War on Drugs. Michael has actually said he would work towards pardoning many people imprisoned for non-violent drug crimes while in office.

I have seen that link before for Badnarik, but I just can't seem to place it.

I would be all for pardoning many people imprisoned for non-violent drug use.
