I'd give him a mankiss right on the mouth right now if I could.

Well that makes one of us.

He may have been wrong at times; he may have been overly idealistic; he may have been unable to adress some problems for the want of concentrating on the solutions.
He made mistakes. He was not a perfect president. There will never be a "perfect" president.
He was a fine president. He is a great man. And he doesn't have a corrupt bone in his body.

That's all well and good but man-kissing this: ...is a little much.

If you look up "ineffectual" in the dictionary you will see Carter's portrait, writ large. I can't imagine how much better off we would be if that cunt had any balls (see Iran). And his home building program is a joke too. The people who work are amateurs and the bureaucratic shit they have to go through doubles the cost of anything they do. He is a phony.
Corruption is actionable and you toss that accusation around a little too lightly. There is no evidence of Bush corruption and plenty of circumstantial evidence for Clinton. Any body check Sandy Berger's pants lately. Can you say midnight pardon.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, and shutthefuckupmoron.
Oh - and I just donated the land that my house used to sit on before I lost it to a fire to Habitats for Humanity. I understand how the organization works, and I've fucking met the people directly aided by this "joke" of an organization. The people are "amateurs" because there's no money in it - so the "professionals" stay home.
Thank god for the amateurs.
Phony. Do any of you fucktards actually think before you open your mouths?

So you love Carter because of:
a. his ineffectual treatment of inflation and high unemployment.
b. his boycott of the 1980 olympic games (a real winner)
c. his miserable failure of an armed rescue mission to free the hostages in Iran.

That's it that's all.
I've given you broad hints in the past -- apparently they don't register.
"Shutthefuckupmoron", "phony", and "fucktard" are over the line.
Solely because I have had a few fine Dominican rums this evening, accompanied by an even finer Dominican cigar, you get an official warning now rather than an instant ban. This the one and only such warning you get. Next time you'll be recommended for a temporary ban.

The amateurs double the cost of the project because they SUCK at it. Good intentions don't butter the biscuit. Who got the benefit of this charity and who didn't. And did you fucking write it off on your taxes so that we could share in your benevolence?

I read somewhere that five or six of his appointments to the federal bench were actually impeached by the House and convicted by the Senate. Oh the other hand, he did help to deregulate several industries.

He's not had a stroke and he's not ill to speak of. He is, however, 2 months away from being 80. That's probably all it is - but I noticed the slurring myself.

so first it was the bureaucracy that doubled the price, then it was the sucky amateurs. Do you have any source to your illogical rants other than your apparent hatred of the man's ideology?

Yeah, I'm so glad we now have a cocky president who starts unnecessary wars, pissing fuel on the fire of American hatred. That's so much better. You know what he should have done? He should have tried covertly selling them automatic weapons. now there's a winner of an idea.

As a President, he was piss poor.
I do admire his work with Habitat though.
Other than that I'd just as soon he shut up and stayed home.
-------------------- You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers
