EXCELLENT !!! Now those are some absolutly beautiful fruits.. and those ones up fronts are some monsters... A job well done. Those are the biggest fruits I've seen ANYONE produce from straw alone. Those are from cased straw alone right? One thing I do notice, is the ones in the back are nowhere near that size as the ones in front. Are they all the same strain of cubs? I think a lot of it does have to do with that MC :) Surely a great design for a substrate such as cased straw or grains. Do you have any pics like that from your friends homemade compost? While were on the subject of straw and grass. Although some ppl have learned to use straw well, such as McMan there is still one factor which hasn't been talked about here in a while. Straw is very low in tryptamine, which as we all know mushrooms digest tryptamine for psilocybin/psilocin production. Straw grown mushrooms are going to be weaker in comparision to grains or compost or even hay for that matter. There were a whole bunch of post here last year about ppl growing on straw by itself complaining about weak mushrooms. I think this is also one of the reasons many ppl complain about weak mushrooms from rice cakes, although rice has tryptamine in it, so little rice is used and a lot of vermiculite. Not much tryptamine left for psilocybin production thus weaker mushrooms. Anyway, great pics and great looking mushrooms. How about showing some of them with the trays in the MC. That would be very cool. Especially since your not selling the MC anymore.

Cows eat straw in the wild not rice & grain....so it would be hard to say that shrooms grown on straw alone will be weaker. Sounds like your covering your butt from earlier posts condemning growing on straw. KEEP ON SHROOMIN!!! Mokulok

In reply to:
You really dont think our fruits are beautiful Kast? That doesn't surprise me... seems like we cant do anything right to get any respect from you.
No, dude. I meant that I was using your fruits as the COMPARISON for beauty. There's no argument that some of your fruits are the most beautiful that I've seen.

Where did the pics go. I skipped this thread cause it sounded boring, and now I find out I missed the largest shrooms grown on straw.
