i'd probably eat way less, simply because i don't have the facilities to strip down the animal. fish would probably become the dominant meat in my diet.

I think in order to eat meat you should be the one required to do the dirty work. If you can't handle it, then meat isn't for you.

I'd eat less/occasionally.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. I'd kill the cattle in a very painful way, so I could hear them mooing for their little life as it's being taken away from them slowly while I cut their throats and pull back the skin from around the throat all around the body, like peeling a banana, then I wouldn't even eat them. I'd go buy a Supreme Steak Chalupa from Taco Bell.
No, I would never do what is stated above. But I would eat way less meat...

Where's the option for eating more meat?
-------------------- To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

Perhaps this should be put in perspective , as most people do not have the resources to produce thier own food in any way , whether meat or vegetables . While I am a vegetarian I would gladly kill an animal and prepare it if my daughter was craving meat ( she is not a vegetarian ) . The life of an animal in the woods is not to be taken any more or any less seriously than one raised by ones own hands , a life is a life . All the above being said consider this , I collect guns , am non violent , and I do not hunt and the only time that I kill is if I see a rabid animal or normally dogs chasing stock or feral cats . No matter what else is said we have replaced the predators and Iwould much rather see responsible ( key word ) hunters take care of the deer population than disease or starvation .
