Have a quick question.
I will be leaving for 2 days vacation on august 6th and 7th. One of my jars is about 60-70% colonized and another about 50%, I think they will be done with in the next two weeks. My question is, if they are fully colonized a week before I go on vacation will it be ok to keep them in the jars until I get back to Fruit? Will it kill the myc to keep it in the jars when it's ready to be out?

Na,just put them in the veggie drawer in the fridge and bust em out when you get back and it will be fine. They should start pinning really quick too,due to the thorough colonization and cold shock.
Good Luck! MYKEY

you could also just leave them be w/o cold shocking, they wont die, they'll be fine. if you do cold shock make sure you don't do it for too long or else they may die...i'm not sure about the exact temps/exposure time to kill mushroom myc though.

Would they be ok for 2-3 weeks like this? Wouldnt loose too much moisture or anything?

You can leave em at room temp and they'll be ready for use when you get back!
