yeah i knew they were going, we had some conversations about that a while back. I've only been to alpine valley but doing alpine>creek sounds awesome. Both are cool places.

A cool venue is SPAC in new york. An outdoor venue with a balcony, it's sweet looking.

If you ever go there you want to do everything in your power to get actual seats.

The way the field is, its like, only half of it you can see and hear really good. Actually the sound up in general admission sucks in general personal opinion. But really big shows where they sell a lot of general admission tix, people like overflow into places you cant always see the stage. and the echoes. :crazy:if you do go in on general admission go in early if you want to have a decent spot for the big show :sun:

Pretty cool place though I must say, seen a lot of good shows there

That was just fucking crazy. I was there.

I put a post up on the Summer Tour thread up top, so check that out, as I'm not gonna double post.

But good lord. Did anyone else think they were going to explode when Casey Jones just got faster and faster and faster? Or at the drum solo with those huge fucking bass drums?

everyone summed the show up pretty well, even Phil Lesh said this show was like the good old days, and that we were an awesome crowd.

As great of a time I had, after looking at the setlist, I'm actually kind of regretful that I was so fucked up.

We were on our way to deer creek, but got held up in traffic and were in Gary IN at about 4:30, giving us like 2 hours to get to the show and buy tickets, which we didnt think we had time to do, also including that we were low on funds, we decided to head back home.

All in all close to the best show I've ever seen. Besides for the fact the the sheriffs department searched our van on the Alpine lot because my girlfriend was rolling a TOBACCO cigerette, luckily 5 minutes before that happened, I told my girl to shove my Altoids tin with all my drugs in it in her bra. (can you say Karma?)

Amazing Chinacat-I know you Rider, awesome Rueben and Cherise, great Casey, although I heard almost exactly the same version at Bonnaroo.
Sadly, we went in late and missed The Music Never Stopped  Oh well, I can always get a dub of the show sometime.
