Yep. I finally got around to beating Final Fantasy IX. Now I've beaten from I - IX. Next up is X. Hooray for me!
My fave is still VII and probably always will be.
I also found out today that I have some Trojan virus on my computer. Huzzah!

FF VII was the shit. I ate, drank, and dreamed that game for 2 weeks during my senior year of high school. I'm not really into gaming either, but that game completely sucked me in. I was seriously depressed after beating it.

FFX is the worst RPG ever made imo. All it is, is cinema, briefly inturrupted by a need to hit the "x" button. If you want to watch a cartoon, then play FFX. I did like the original FF series on super nintendo, of course super nintendo was the golden age of consel RPGs...
Good luck with FFX, i hope you like it, i fell asleep during one of the long boring cinemas...and when it came time to play "blitzball" i quit the game for good.
FFXI is good, its like a computer RPG.

Have to agree with the FFX comment - my friend seemed so into it and I just couldn't get it. Probably because he was obsessed with all the previous ones.

please tell me you have beaten final fantasy tactics!!!
I loved that game to death
but ya...7 is the shit
aren't they making a movie on it as a sequal instead of a FF7-2 video game?? I think vincent is supposed to be one of the main characters in this movie
-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Hmm, ffx sure is linear, but after playing Grandia II for the Dreamcast, nothing comes close... lol.
I still think that ffx is a fun game nonetheless. I really noticed how the first 5 hours are basically cinemas, and the x button.
Btw, who the fuck didn't eat, sleep, and breathe ffvii when it came out!? Yeah, that's what I thought. Great game, amazingly depressing ending. roflmao.

Has anyone ever played Metal Marines? If you have the Rom, PM me and if you want any Roms, I'll trade them for spores too. Specifically Aurazens (the cold resistant one)

FF2 was the best one in the Final Fantasy series and probably one of the best (if not th best) rpg ever imho.
But I played FF7 and it really sucked all of my time away from me....this game's sooo addictive!!! Replayed it many times also.
But did anyone elso think FF8 really REALLY sucked ? I bought the game and didn't even finish it

Mmmm all good snes games. Such nostalgia. I can't wait until there's a fullspeed snes emulator on the Dreamcast, I'll have to rig up a snes controller to up the experience. And anyone with a chipped xbox, burn the damn snes emu you lucky buggers!!!!
I liked ff8. I know that damn near everyone bitchs about drawing shit from monsters, but back in the day I had more time to piss away. I think it's a great game, great story and just tons of fun. I have a friend who thinks it's by far the best ff game, but that's over doing it a little.
