 Observation on the dual parties

It seems to be a general trend that Democrats try to look for problems, and Republicans try to deny the existence of problems.
I wonder why this **might** even be true? Could it be yet another flaw in the two-party system, is it something else, or am I quite simply imagining it?

Actually, it may just be these forums, and not related to the two party system. Every time I see a "conservative," hes saying that theres no direct, spelled-out proof, while the "liberal" looks for more problems. That explains it.
Yeah, on the national level they do sort of blame each other alot

Liberals usually can play on the downfalls of people and on emotions alone, while a republican would have a daunting task of even bringing up many issues related to emotions of people.
I feel the republicans build more on pride alone then the spectrum of emotions.

I blame them both for the problems and say that parties are lame. They tend to polarize the people who represent us. This to me is fubar and goes against what I personally believe this nation should be like. But what the hell can I do?

I think your observation is true, but not tied to the party, its tied to which party is in the white house. When Clinton was in the white house Republicans looked for problems, and the Democrates deny the existance of problems. This has been true througout history....the group in power tried to keep it, and defends there positions, the group seeking power tries to take it, and attack the positions.

democrats try to solve problems which republicans acknowledge the government has no business trying to solve.
