hey thanks for the info, but my gorrila needs more info, he only used two holes to inncumulate his jars. and he didn't get them that deep. Soo he needs to know if maybe this is the reason why it is taking soo long. Also he did the jars on tuesday morning and it's friday night now and still nothing

he also forgot to tell me that it is a pint jar soo this he thinks might change how long it takes to fully colonize, tell me if he's wrong

B+ are slow to germinate, then they take off. Wait a couple days. I`ve had no experience with verm substitutes. It might work.

well i think ur right about the pint and only two holes, plus, it was kind of compact and had little verm. and perlite soo that might be hard on the mycelium. Well the gorrila has another questioon. He went over to home depot today and couldn't find straight vermiculite but found perlite? he thinks there the same, are theY? will perlite keep contams out if he use' half an inch?

Verm is absorbant, perlite is not. Perlite merely "holds" water in it`s pores.
