Team Sleep is Chino's (of the deftones) side project. It's a mellow hypnotic mix of electronics, instruments, vocals, and dj mixing. very cool stuff. If you are a Deftones fan think 'Teenager' and 'Lucky You'.
They are supposed to be releasing an album at some point but god knows when.

Im wondering if anyone knows where I can find some songs?? (i've only been able to find the Passportal)

I think Team Sleep is more aimed at non-deftones fans, honestly.

The Deftones are a heavy rock band.

Team Sleep is akin to the songs I liked the very least from the Deftones.

Give me Adrenaline or Around the Fur, or give me death!

deftones are loud but sweet and pure. imho
they use distortion but they dont seem like heavy rock to me, especially the direction their last 2 albums have taken.

but yea, obviously Team Sleep sounds different than deftones i was just giving examples of the sort of vibe of the sound.
