It only took me a decade to get away from pasty plates and slime cups. But mine arrived yesterday and I just loaded them into the pressure cooker.

Still doing no pour.  I may be no pour for life

Feeling excited though

Mine are in the flow right now, hopefully drying some condensation. I poured and then wrapped in foil 10 at a time, which was tricky. I think I'll wrap them in 5 stacks until I find suitable containers to sterilize them in.

I did no pour and put them in unicorn bags to run.

A lot of condensation, which I'll probably try to dry with the lids off more individually before using them.  The cheap parafilm I ordered apparently got lost though, so not doing anything until Wednesday.

Once I get a bigger workspace set up, I think I'll try pouring.

I got tired of cutting into my tubs with the sharp corners of my finishing trowel. Then it came to me!!!! Bacon press! Already had one on hand but here is a pic of what I’m now using to make my tubs.

So I don't have a pic, but my gf's mom decided we shoud trade instant pots - ours was a 6qt, hers was 8qt. Since we tend to cook more often and for more people, she was happy to swap them! So now I have a slightly bigger IP, and that's the best crimbus gift I could have wanted!

Nice! I like my 8qt instant pot. I mostly use it for agar these days. 500ml media bottles will fit, just barely. And the lowest "keep warm" setting holds it at about 130f until I get around to pouring.

Makes mean roast too.

I get quite excited about good kitchen gear. But it needs to be a multi-tasker, I got no room for unitask stuff.

I dont cook, which is ironic considering the amount of dishes I'm doing thanks to this thing of ours.

@ Thurman I know. I am so excited to do a grain run. @Klarn there are no unitaskers in this kitchen. I just used my dehydrator to make apple chips for Christmas presents.
