Been a woodlover kinda' weekend...

2nd flush caerulescens putting out some chonky boys

nice germination with very few contaminants from a cyanescens print

gymnopilus surrounding and stopping a mold colony dead in its tracks - this transfer was a major win, been trying to clean up this wild clone culture for months! looks like it might be clean next transfer. **fingers crossed**

I shook it like a Polaroid picture.
Going to be a busy month... 4 varieties to run and GTG they were each staggered by about a week.

Mine come out the same way - little bit of powder residue. I would think that laying the finished ones out onto a dry towel and rolling them around a bit might help remove it.

I just capped several hundred this weekend, definitely a chore to do but worth it.
So I had something happen after jarring up the finished caps. I used a vacuum contraption made for sucking all the air out of the jars, well as it pulled a vacuum, several caps popped open. I have pull a vacuum on other jars with caps, but never had this happen before. Oh well, the cap jars only get desiccant, damn what a mess!!!

I had that happen the first (and only) time I tried to put capsules under vacuum. Sealed jar should be good enough, I think. Canning lids for the long term, though for the 3-6 months I keep capsules around (for micro-dosing), I just use one-piece PP lids on jars or repurposed prescription pill bottles.

The first time I did it, that didn't happen. I also apparently threw away the instructions by accident lolol

So my first germ plate showing some action that I’m able to photograph. The whole in there isn’t a transfer spot, I just really underestimated the softness of it when swabbing.

Weird angle, because I couldn’t get rid of the reflections otherwise.. Really have to get myself a decent thing to take photos, besides my old phone. Otherwise I feel I can’t ask anyone for help if I’m muccking something up.
