The green mold [trichoderma] prefers an acid PH in the 4 to 5.5 range [per Stamets]. PC mycelia likes it neutral to slightly basic [6.8 to 7.2]. Coffee is indeed acidic...so its not going to help. Oyster mushies like spent coffee grounds, I've even got PC's to grow on them when buffered with the right amount of lime, but they stil didn't do nearly as well as on BRF cakes or rye.

The #'s are those published by Stamets, I'd trust them without question. Pretty much all magic and edibles like it right around a nutral 7, some as high as 7.5. There are few wood decomposers that like it a bit more on the acid side...but still not by too much.
