My friend isn't full of shit. They found the shrooms in his stomach or intestines or something. I guess the other kids with him told them who sold the shrooms and thats how they caught the dealers. I can't be sure, but I think they prob were cubies. I just talked to my buddy like 10 minutes ago about it and there is a possibility that he did some other drug that they didnt find in his system and the death was blamed on the shooms, at least that is my buddy's opinion. I am not trying to get attention or anything like that, just relaying what I have been told. By the way, this happened in Pennsylvania.

Sorry about your buddy, that really sucks. What also sucks is that I can see the front headlines now.. "Psychedelic Mushrooms Fatality" I'm not saying that mushrooms didn't infact cause the death, but let's face it - very unlikely. Mushrooms will be the 'scapegoat' once again, and society once again will be mis-informed.

actually there wouldn't be any warning, besides an upset stomach or something, since they can take up to 3days to kill ya and it happens very suddenly, with in a few hours after initial signs opf posioning. You see the first few days are normal then on the 3rd (depending on the mushroom) liver and kidney failure and death, thats why it is hard to save a person who ate em, they don't know until its too late.

herbertd8, wouldn't the shrooms have passed through the digestive tract by 3 days and wouldn't be found there? that's what the guy posted that they found them in his track, maybe he took other drugs at the time he was shrooming. psilocyin only stays in your system 24 hours after digesting. but with poisinous shrooms it would probably be different. I haven't really studied those poision shrooms to much so I don't know. but I would think that by the third day it would have (the shroom tissue) passed through the digestive track and not be in the intestines.
