I have read everyones experiments with corn flour, and used it since BRF is impossible to find, although they did have some sticky looking WRF

I prepared:
3 jars of normal 1/4 water 1/4 corn 2/3 verm
1 jar water, corn, verm, 1/6 cup molasses
1 jar water, BRF (chunky grinded), verm

Any experience with molasses? Hope it works out =)

you don't need amy molasses in ur jar. if the corn isn't enough then you are doing something wrong. the only time you use anything remotely having to do with molasses is when you are doing a karo jar, but that is completely different than what you are doing.

Cultivation Progress [Re: mycopsycho]

It has been 8 days and since, the jars have progressed as such:

3 jars with corn meal - showing no signs of fungus growth.. signs of moisture still present

1 jar grinded BRF - strong fungal growth, 48% complete

1 jar molasses - interesting growth developing at bottom of glass, brownish color

Im confused as to why the corn meal is taking so long, or if it will work at all... Perhaps there are preservatives in the cornmeal that inhibits the mold from growing?
