I don't think that if you believe in a God, you must believe in a devil. I think the idea of there being a devil is utter bullshit. But God.... I'll never know.

When I talk to God I consult the Devil (he like me to call him Lucifer...I called him Lucy once and he got real pissed) as well. Always get both sides of the story.

Dier von satan!

Holding the view that the devil does exist: The devil influences a person's decision... if anyone does blame the devil for making them do something should be forced to become the next goatse.cx gif with a dildo rammed right up their ass

The devil is the personificaiton of the recognition of patterns that repeat in time.
It is the old god and the beginning of wisdom and the burden of age.
It has been demonized, because it thinks. Are you in league with it Swami?

Are you in league with it Swami?

How can one be "in league" with one's self?

Symbolic myth. The Lord is the creator and master of the devil (the ultimate demon), the Lord is responsible for all evil attributed to the devil as the devil is his agent, a creation of his mind. Man was created in the image of the Lord, we create our own demons. Man is responsible for all evil attributed to demons, as demons arise out of the minds of men - minds which direct purposeful actions that result in harm to others (it is men who become demons).

... or something like that.

--------------------
To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

You must repent and turn from the path you are on. When you repeat yourself, you are in league with what you are. Repetition is the devils playground.

I think I'll back out of here quietly now there is some saying about not teaching the devil to parse, or someth9ing like that.

"Repetition is the devils playground."

we then, I guess these words are of the devil too since own main source of learning and retaining knowledge is through repetition. like how we learned to talk, to write, to read, to do math, etc.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.
