yes I get excellent results with verm. no i don't add h2o2 are anything. no sterilization. because the casing won't be used long and then ya throw it out and start fresh with the next flush.

I tried casing with just vermiculite, and again used some h2o2 to sterilize, but the mushrooms that sprouted were pathetic. They had extremely narrow stems and small caps. Have you had good yields with just vermiculite? How do u sterilize it? Any other tips?

by next flush, do you mean a new batch altogether, or a continuation of the previous casing?

continuation. you should be able to get 4 nice flushes from a batch, on average.

how do you go about this? I'm kinda confused, you say that you throw everything out and start anew. How do you do that with a casing? Also, how long until i change it out, every flush?
