best bet is to look at something like legal highs on erowid (an online book in the library section-somewhat outdated) and just look through the list scanning for northeast and further your research from there

it tends to grow in full sun and is frequent allong raodsides. i couldn't miss it anywhere in southern to north-central cali in the sumer time allong any highway at all. i don't imagine you will ba able to find it in the northeast, as i do not know it to grow there. it does tend to grow from the midwest to the southwest and the pacific caost up to central california.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

I often find D. Stramonium along roadsides in the NE, Innoxia and Metel i found planted in yards or as landscape planst believe it or not in a few communities in the NE.

However i don't cosnider any of it fun.

The only fun plants in the nightshade family are eggplants and tomatoes cause the taste good, in my opinion. (I didn't forget tobacco, it's just that i don't smoke.)
