help my cakes are turning blue
    #2899750 - 07/17/04 02:38 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

My cakes have been in the chamber for about a week. I couldnt get them to pin and they just keep getting more fluffier. The temp is around 73 and the humidity is above 90. I looked at them today, and i saw that there are spots on them that are turning blue, there is even a spot on one cake that looks slightly brown, although i dont think its the cap of a primordia. Is it too late to try and case them? What the best thing I can do?

The spots are most likely areas where water may be dripping on them check the top of your chamber.

Ok. I attached a sheet of foil to the lid and bent it in the middle so any water that might be dripping on the cakes, won't anymore. Btw the cakes were in a different terr. for 3 days before i switched to a different. That wouldnt mess things up would it?

Just be patient, its the key.

It usually takes 7-9 days to fruit
