Blacklights work?? I never considered that. should I run a plug into the terrarium and light it from inside? i should note that this tub isn't translucent or transparent in any way.

you bet. ask pavlov dog about those. he's using one right now, he can probably give you some good hints on hooking it up and stuff.

I personally use a blue light and when the closet door is closed you can't tell it is in there even when the rest of the room is dark.

I would think that you would have to be really careful with the blacklight though..because those put out a lot of heat.

Personally the thought of actually putting anything that runs on electricity inside of the chamber (the actual components that is) scares me because of the high humidity.

What I do is just have a clipon light hooked up above it.

yeah, my parents don't frequent my closet, so I could set up a clip light when I go to bed, and run it 12/12. Cover in day, live at night. How many flushes will I get with 4 pint cakes? BTW, I have a very awkward 30 gallon tupperware storage bin with 2 inches of perlite, covered with a heating blanket. god, when I move out, SHROOMS EVERYWHERE. but, until then....HELP!!
