depends on how many cakes you want to stuff into it! it will work great any size! but don't put one or two cakes in a HUGE tererrium! keep it logical!

why not? glass is easy to clean, easy for light to get through plus easy to see the shrooms with out opening it up all the time.plus the glass will condensate which will make even more humidity. are you could use a rubbermade tub with a lid but then you have to cut a hole in the lid and silicon a pieace of plexy glass to it.

use perlite, it's all you need to regulate water. pm pavlov and he can give you the directions you need.

YES, SOMEONE CAN HELP! Have some farkin patience would ya... I posted that about 5 minutes ago.. geez.

well, in the pic you see above, the hole was cut out with a kitchen knife, siliconed a 'SCORED' peice of plexiglass, then used 10 drywall screws to hold it on.... you can cut plexiglass easily by scoring it.. make sure you use the screws.


And if you arent willing to put a little work into making a terrarium, then you arent worth helping... good luck

Also, this is a response to your PM, you dont HAVE to be able to SEE the perlit....... just put the shit in a noodle strainer and run water over it till you are satisfied that its thouroghly wet, then, only put 1 inch OR SO.... dont have to be exact, along the bottom.... leave it alone until your cakes have FLUSHED once......, then, while your doing your dunkjob or whatever, you can RE-RINSE the perlite and repeat the process.
