Possible new active species in North Georgia

I was out walking when I came across a mushroom with a some what flat cap, it was thick and the top was pinkish. The gills weren't gills they were yellow pores and the stem was only about 2 inches.
It was found growing off a steep slope of red clay.
At first I just picked it up then decided to test for blueing. I tore the stem off the cap and observed the white area where the stem was plucked. Within 5 seconds a blueish almot greenish reaction occurred, it continued getting darker blue and the traces of green subsided into blue. It bruised extremely quick.
If this isen't an active why would it turn blue like this when I press it?

I don't have a camera, I'm basically asking what causes a mushroom to turn blue besides psilocybin. The top is a very smooth pink the gills are yellow pores like a yellow sponge. there is also no veil. Found in Dallas, GA.

No, I said it might be a new species because I know all the known active species in Georgia and this was very unlike them and it just so happened to bruise blue VERY VERY similar to active mushrooms.

IMHO, among mycologically minded people, blue bruising in certain boletes is a rather well known phenomenon.
It was one of the first things I learned about when I started reading page after page of mushroom related material in order to know what it was that I was searching for.
