 Do you prefer making chocolate or gummies?

I've never made either but been watching videos and want to try one.
On the chocolate side I saw a recommendation for 70% Lindt bars mixed straight with mushroom powder. Does the higher percentage actually improve the effect or just satisfy chocolate snobs?
The gummy teks I saw were mostly using lemon Tek extract mixed with agar or gelatin along with sugar and flavoring. Seems a bit tricky getting them to come out with the right consistency and looks to be more work than chocolate.
Which do you prefer? Any tips?

Chocolate is quite a bit easier in my opinion. Tempering is the only tricky part

 You'd think gummies were foolproof, but I still don't have mine down. Btw there's no solid science that the higher percentage of cocoa is responsible for changing the character of the effects at all. A higher percentage chocolate offers health benefits, but that's neither here nor there. Semi sweet is easier to work with and is better suited flavor wise for making mushroom chocolates IMHO. There are soooo many easy recipes too that you have a variety of options, unlike with gummies. I'd rather fucking eat gummies though...

Gummies are very simple when you use a good recipe.
That being said I worked on my recipe for over a year.
Both have their pros and cons, I prefer gummies because I don't want mushroom material in edibles.

I like chocolate.
I use SemiSweet chocolate chips (because I don't like darker). For 1 bag of chips I use 14g mush powder and 30ml cannabis infused MCT oil. Mix the oil and mushroom powder first and this allows the mushroom powder to distribute much nicer into the chocolate and allows it to pour into molds much easier. You can use non-infused MCT oil if you don't do weed. with my molds this recipe makes 14 1g bars.

I use chocolate for higher dosing (1.5g a piece) and gummies for light dosing (0.5g per gummie)

Chocolates are easy buti hate them. Do gummies. Or making strawberry shroom ice cream which is good for year in the freezer is the king of treats.

Ive never made gummies before so naturally chocolates are my favorite 
High-cocoa chocolate has a mild MAOI effect, too mild to really notice thou.

IMO it becomes too much chocolate after a bit. It's good for a square or two, but eating a whole bar gets hard.
My preferred method is Tea.
I tried making gummies and they turned out OK.

I'm totally dialed-in on chocolates, never tried making gummies before.
I make very small chocolates and usually tend to just nibble on them over a period of time. Most people would get very high if they ate like three or four of them at once. That would be about ten grams of chocolate or less, so a pretty small amount to eat. More potent material means less to consume, and pushing the envelope of chocolate:powder ratios means less chocolate to eat. But I do like just a little bit of volume there, so that there's an intuitive sense of how much I'm taking.

Gummy guy, myself. They are more portable in the desert. They are more work than chocolate, but they don't melt quite as easily in your pocket and can keep for months on the shelf or years in the fridge.

They are pistachios. I use them to identify the semperviva chocolates. The cannabis chocolates get a C.

Making gummies is fun, though I'm still working on minimizing losses during extraction. My gummies always come out quite a bit weaker than expected based on the material that went in.
I haven't done chocolates yet. Anyone who's tried both, have you noticed a difference in onset times? Gummies are about 45 minutes for me; the vegetarian capsules I made were anywhere from 2-4 hours.

Think I might start with the bag of semi sweet chips and 14g of powder for simplicity sake to start.
Of those of you that have a gummy recipe dialed in would you mind sharing.
Aside from cheesecloth and just hand squeezing are there any tips at extracting the most amount of juice? Seems easy to waste the good stuff.
