So I've checked out the FAQ on growing from this site: http://www.fungifun.org/pf/pf_en.htm, but it tells me to use 1-1.5ml in total for each of the four holes (scroll down to where he talks about inoculation). I've decided to order off of www.ralphstersspores.com but all he says about the syringes is that they are 10cc, 18 gauge, and 1 and 1/2 inch needles...how much can those syringes hold so I know how many to order (I'll be making two of those from the FAQ site). Also, I'll be buying the Brazilian strain...anyone have any experience with that, was it a good or bad experience?

I would recommend ordering from spores101.com They have a promotion for buy on e get one free. Also, their prices are rock bottom. I ordered from there and my jars colonized great. As far as how much to inject in each jar, I would say 1 cc is plenty (1/4 cc per hole).

But does spores101 support shroomery?  Do they show the same dedication and support as Ralph?

EDIT:  I just realized that spores101 is indeed a Shroomery vendor.  My bad.  :blush: :smirk:

The only "dedication and support" the sponsors show are payed advertising, and a contest every now and then. Both of these give them a fuckload of business so I wouldn't really call them dedicated... or supportive... I'd say they are capitalising.

No, no, it does not say that. Please read it again.
It says "You should use 1 - 1.5 ml of the spore suspension per jar, so one 10ml syringe is sufficiant for 6 -10 jars."

Maybe my wording was a little funked up anno, but when I said in total I meant the amount putting into the four holes = total. Sorry for the confusion there. So I should put 1/4cc per hole (1cc per jar)? Do the numbers on the syringe read 1cc...2cc...3cc...etc?

You usually want to use around 0.25cc to 0.5cc per hole x4 for jars. So in all you should be using around 1.0cc to 1.5cc per jar. Good luck! :syringe:
