Could someone please answer a stupid question....? (G)

AFOAF has 6 trays going in a cultivator and the temp is constant now, and the humidity is running at a steady 93%, but the casing is already pulling away from the sides of the trays....although since yesterday, he has TONS of pins coming through and no end in site....

but why would the casing be pulling away from the sides, I thought that only happened when it was too dry...???

thanx for any answers....(preferably a good one...hahah)

The myc is using the moisture and it's eating the substrate.

If you don't want it to shrink just kill all the mycelium.
