Let's talk bottle tek

So I've got 6 half pint jars that are about 1:3 ratio WBS to coir. They're just about fully colonized and I got to wondering should I take them out and fruit them like a cake in a water tub? I know I've generally seen bottles getting top fruited but with such a small size I'm wondering if having the whole cake exposed might lead to a better harvest.
Anyone have any thoughts or experiences they could share with me? Is this the perfect time for me to science it out and do half and half to measure yields?
Thanks friends

I love the look of cakes fruiting with all the side fruits and 360° shrooms beauty.
I have seen some nice looking top fruited jars too but I feel like the wider 16 oz shorties are better for that.
I'm here for the science and curious how either way affects yield tho for sure.
If all variables are as equal as possible I'd love to see a side x side comparison.
What genetics?
I have 2 straight brown rice pints cased in verm just now pinning. Wishing I would have left 1 in the jar now.

It's jedi mind fuck apparently soooo cubes. And yeah I definitely like the looks of the shrooms growing off all around.
Maybe I will split it and see which gives more weight. Can't be exact obviously because nothing was weighed or measure otherwise but it'll be fun to see if there's a difference

I used to do the first flush top fruited then take it out

Bottle tek is great for testing new substance. Wbs in coir is fine but might be slow. Might want to save the coir to case and top fruit it's. Favors mix for me is cracked corn 15%, cob corn 25%, soy hulls pellets 25% , 25% either composted manure or vermiculite or wood bits. 45% water content. Pc 2 hours , knock up 10ml lc or li .

It was basically just a way for me to get rid of left over material without actually tossing it. The seed was left over after quart jars, the agar used to knock it was a couple plates I took transfers from and the whole process was more a test than anything but it seems to be rolling so why not go with it ya know?
I'll definitely keep this in mind if I want to do some dedicated bottles though. They seem to take well. The 10cc you use is that for a full quart?

Noted, I think I've sold myself on doing the experiment now though maybe I'll see how the top fruited do and pull them out after? Maybe two top fruited and pulled. Get weight on all three methods and see how it goes
