you have to eat about 3-5 pills for a trip. the mycelia is thicker than pan. trop. mycelia. its pretty thick. i just transferred them to wheatstraw.

Shrooms that are dried, powdered, and stuffed into caps are dead as a dodo. Spores would be the only thing to [possibly]survive the drying and packing process.

not all the time because there is a way you can preserve them and thats by drying them first. read the shroomery's grow/find section and go to preserving mushrooms. there is a ton of articles there that support this but if they are packed into pills and not stored in a freezing temperature there is chance that the shrooms could lose their potency. there must have been some potency there because me and my friends took a bunch and we defintley felt something i could say.

shroomzilla's point was concerning whether you and company felt psychoactive effects, but rather that ground up mushrooms don't grow when you put them in liquid media/agar. if you really did get something to grow, there must have been spores in the crushed mixture.
also, those pills must have been pretty friggin big if you got an effect from 3.

the gel caps I use for my ingestion carry one gram a piece :) all ya got to do is swallow one and your feeling great :) yes they are pretty big but not as bad as chewing up the shrooms I think !!

i couldnt get them to fruit, i tried several different methods but none worked.
1.mycelia to wheatstraw
2.mycelia/wheatstraw to dung
3.mycelia to worm castings
none worked!! oh well.

it colonized very fast. as fast as any fast strain cubensis would have. on the wheatstraw all it did was colonize and then stop. i dont know what went wrong i put the casing in a terranium and nothing happened three times!! so i just gave up and put it behind me. i think it was EQ.

no there was casing....i used dung on the first one, and then worm castings on the second. humidity was around 85-90% and temps were about the same i suppose im not quite sure ii dont have a thermometer. but all my cubies grow in my terranium, its an old dog cage, with plastic wrap covering it, than blankets for no light to get in. im using a coolmist inside of it. plus i have a tap light on the top thats plenty light for the pins to fruit. peace.

Sometimes you ca get a weak strain that just won't fruit, this is usually from "old" spores. Someone gave my pet snail a 2 year old syringe from an unknown Canadian supplier. They germinated and grew a bit on the slow side...but never fruited. He's actually had some bits of the original culture growing for about 4 mos now and not the first sign of a pin. Mycelia is very healthy...it just doesn't want to fruit.
