Light, or dark?

Well, I birthed my first casings into their fruiting chamber about 5 days ago. The thing is, I'm going out of town for the weekend and there will be no one there to provide light changes. Should I leave the light on, or off? Will too much light hurt the casings? Will leaving the light off slow the pinning process greatly? Advice appreciated!

Leave it on, providing the light is not giving off much heat, which could dry out your cakes.
