To grill or boil my san pedro?

Well I was thinking
1) Slice cactus into strips, remove core, skin and spikes. Add some olive oil and some(maybe alot) spices. Grill till edges are slightly charred. This makes very tasty zuchini strips... think it would work for san pedro?
2) blend and boil for 4 hours. Mix with kool aid mix and drink.
which would you guys reccomend?

Try it and seem, maybe it'll cover the bitter but in my experiences it's just that a cover and still underpins all flavors you add.

What a crazy idea man, never thought of that. I wish i had money to experiment with san pedro more. I think it would taste really bad with spices though, because the bitterness would make it gross. I like drinking it, it's not too bad. If you ever give it a try, let us know!

IME, trying to avoid the taste with other tastes is the wrong way to go. try dicing the flesh into verry small pieces, putting into your mouth fngerfuls at a time, then swallowing with a mouthful f water. this requires no chewing and very little taste remains in your mouth.

I imagine you're keeping the grill on low, mescaline is pretty stable but beating it with that much energy probably isn't good.

I just blend it up in my food processor centers removed but no spikes or skin removed then put it in a cloth towel and squeze well. Then i re blend the stuff in the towel and re squeze and let it settle overnight because it comes out the towel as foam.
I dont think boiling is a good idea because it must kill some mescaline. The taste isnt bad at all, its quite watery with a mild cactus taste, not really bitter its almost tasteless with a chaser. Im sure a bit of cool aid powder might help but it might give you a stomach ache. I had 1/3 of a solo cup with my friends from a 1' section and i had no stomach ache, mescaline is the best trip ive ever had and i havent even had a big trip yet. The coolest feeling was like 5 hours in i was laying on my couch and it felt like i was in the tv liek it was 3d and much much closer. The whole room felt really small like i was a giant.

hmmm.... I boiled mine for 3 hours last night... I dont think I took enough cause I only felt a bit out of it.
Larger dose now... about a pound. Should I not boil it as long?

how long of a section? dont even bother boiling, throw it in a food processor and squeeze out he juice through cloth, re blend and squeeze the stuff left in the cloth another one or two times. 1' of pedro gave 3 of us a nice body trip and i got some visuals as i said and i dosed the day before about 1/5 of the total sludge volume so it was less then 1' of cactus the second day when i had more. And i didnt stress the plant at all before the chop.
