copyrights are REALLY only supposed to be there to stop you from either copying and selling someone else's creation, or copying it and claiming it as your own. Both of which I think are fully respectable laws. Unfortunately though it's gone beyond that now.....

I could go on for a while on this subject, but im not. But, ofcourse its about the damn money...yes, some artists do live for music and they are not worried about making a living off of it. But if you are a mainstream/national act, then the label is not going to sit around and let people "steal" their music(if this is what you are talking about). It may seem like the bands are the ones bitching about internet piracy and all that bullshit, but really the label is the engine behind that voice, not in all cases, but most.

Personally I think free musics will kill the crappy bands and only serve to make good bands stronger.

I am not worrried about people trading my music, I want them to enjoy it.

Bands can will always be able to make  a living.......LIVE shows.

I really think that while "video killed the radio star" \

The internet will kill the Britney's of the world.
(it will take time, but it will happen)
