With Shroom growing being so risky why does'nt everyone just hunt for them? It is almost insane to cultivate them in your home with the penalties you could recieve.

people die every year of misidentification, including people who have been identifying mushrooms for 20 + years.
better in jail, then dead!

that, and some of us live in large cities, without friends who live out on farms that would let us search their land. So I'd have to either think up a good story to tell some farmer or trespass. If I trespass, I could be arrested for trespassing and possession.
I think I'd be more likely to not get caught by growing them in my apartment and keeping my mouth shut, then by trespassing.

In my state I can shoot people for trespassing and NOT go to jail! If there is cattle on the land (according to the law) I can hang you by the neck until dead.
You are lucky if all they can do is arrest you.

Texas Yah! he's right, here the land owners have all the rights, which i think is the way it ought to be, even cops have to get permission to go on the land without a search warrent.

if you were to shoot someone "legally" in your state that might stop the state from pressing charges but i would assume in todays law suit happy culture the retributions awarded from a civil suit for liable would force one to sell off all there land even in texas.. a lil off topic i would like to see a case of this nature reviewed by the supreme court could make an interesting example of state vs federal rights.

No it's not. It's just a matter of keeping your mouth shut, really. Most busts occur because somebody talked.

With Shroom growing being so risky why does'nt everyone just hunt for them? It is almost insane to cultivate them in your home with the penalties you could recieve.
1. there are many places where they do not grow abundantly in the wild.
2. there is no risk of possibly fatal misidentification with home cultivation.
3. growing indoors does not, as hunting usually does, require one to trespass on another person's property or be subject to the possible penalties\risks for doing so.
4. indoor mushrooms are cleaner, more potent, and consistent in potency than ones found in the wild (provided we're talking about cubensis).
5. growing indoors is actually more discreet than hunting, provided that you know how to keep your mouth shut and your head down.
6. the availability of indoor crops is not subject to seasonal conditions or weather.
hunting is much riskier than growing IMO.

i grow 90% of my shrooms outdoors, mostly woodlovers and also cubes in the summer and 10% is pan cyans and cubes indoors. but im in europe and the risk isnt that big, its not legal but what can they do heh. but if the risk is high go for outdoors, my outdoor beds produces the best mushies anyways

Growing isn't that risky. The problem comes when you start sharing your produce with others.

Think about it.... -You have a clean record, so you aren't being watched etc. -You aquire all of your supplies in a safe maner (ordering to a dif. location than the grow) -You KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT -Don't make it to large scale
Sounds fairly safe to me....

there really is only a brief 3 or 4 week period when somebody would know what the hell is going on even if they did see what you were growing. Bunch of white shit, some damprid, who knows what that is unless they specifically are into mushrooms?
Now something like growing pot is alot more risky.

thank god its legal to grow here.
plus you can chuck em somewhere without having all this lighting crap, take up liek no room, odourless (compared to).
the key for anything that may be illegal is not talking. Cant bust ya for somthign they didnt hear.
