I would ditch the tape and foil.

I get rid of the foil after steaming, and never use tape. My jars colonize very quickly, I usually see good growth in 2-3 days.

hhmmm, yea take off the tape, thats what i was advised to do and it worked well for me.

also i dont know if the 85 degrees is right, im not gonna argue with it cause i dont think it will hurt anything, but when you say its 100% humidity, heh, well do you have them in the fruiting chamber? because you shouldnt have them in the fruiting chamber, if you take the tape off and all that humidity gets into the jars and offsets your water to substrate mixture thing, you dont want that. also, put em in a dark place. when i first did my jar, i was keeping it next to a window seal, but once i put it under a box, it just shot off. so keep it in darkness while its still colonizing the jar.

take the tape off, leave the foil on... don't heat the jars unless the temp goes below 60...

and be patient... sometimes it takes a while for spores to germinate... and sometimes, especially in the summer sun, spores die in your mailbox...

give it a few more days...
