8 cakes, no fruit

put 8 cakes in chamber almost two weeks ago, been seeing what I thought were pins forming but no brown heads ever, temperature ranges from 75 -77 f humidity at around 100percent most of the time. Saw a few patches of gray forming so sprayed real good with h202 at around 10 percent mixture. Cakes blued a little but went white again. Did I mess something up? I should be seeing nice pinning by now.

Temp is fine , humididty is fine , you may have knocked them back a bit with the H202 , keep an eye on them for any signs of the "grey" returning. 10% for the H202 sounds a bit steep perhaps ?

Cakes are looking.....compacted for lack of better words like the myc is strangling the cake.....is this normal? Have also read about the use of lysol affecting things....My buddy uses a shitload. Are the cakes dehydrated or something? The humidity is good says the hygrometer but no moisture buildup on sides of chamber. wtf

It couldn't hurt. Actually, a dunk and roll might be best for them at this point. Then I'd try to just leave them alone for a while. Sounds like you set them back with the H202 and lysol.

How much air exchange are they getting?

Just an update, one cake has fruit. Noticed today about as big as pencil erasers 4 or 5 of them with nice brown caps around the bottom are poking out. Only thing is that the stem is looking a little tan. Whatcha think?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that is from moisture buildup on the bottom of the cake. Good luck on the other 7 cakes.

It all just takes time man. Someone i know somewhere has 8 cakes as well. They were slow starting off, but produced an oz dry on the first flush, then they were dunked & rolled (I strongly suggest this) and produced 424g wet on the second flush. They are currently dunking getting ready for their third go round =) .
Good Luck man, it just takes time. -dr0

It's not bruising, positive of that after further inspection.
Cant find the salt trick, how does one go about doing it?
