Auroras, Noctilucent clouds, Halos
Satellites
The sky is full of them nowadays. And the best thing is that some of them produce flares. And they're all predictable. So if You want to see lets say a -8 magnitude Iridium stellite flare go to the Heavens-Above site, provide Your geographical coordinates and get a the list of upcomming flares for Your location. And if You have a look around You can find a looot of other good things on that site. Meteors
To find out more about meteors Gary W. Kronk's Comets & Meteor showers page is a good place to start. The Moon
I have spent uncountable hours just lurking the Moon with my binoculars. I just open the window, put my headphones on, sit back in the chair and I'm there Lunar map 1 Lunar map 2 Lunar map 3 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Moon Everything Else (comets, planets, nebulas etc.)
You might want to get Yourself some better equipment to dig these If You want to know what is that You see/saw or if You're looking for something in particular have a look at The Sky and Telescope Interactive Sky Chart Sky & Telescope is the leading amateur astronomer magazine and it has a great site on the internet. Don't miss their observing section

Awesome information,Stargazing is amazing...I can stare all night.I'm thinking of getting a telescope as soon as I have the extra money. It sucks living in a town with many lights surrounding you though, perhaps I can go somewhere where it's much darker.

holy crap nice post and pics.
on an average, cloudless night, on smaller doses you can see billions of stars you would have never even noticed if you weren't tripping. i think maybe it's because of the eye dialating effect...i don't know. but i get superman nightvision on shrooms and looking at the stars is nuts.

I tripped the other night under a full moon and a full clear sky of stars out in the middle of no where at my friends house. Great fun. It was beautiful. I hope to see the auroras some day first hand, those are truely amazing.
