So every feeding and watering should be acidic? I usually get my ph for weed and Kratom down to 5.5-6.5 (pale orange to barely green yellow). I saw your post about having the ph down to 4-5, that’s for nutrient solution? I gotta get my knowledge up on this species! it’s always been a plant I’ve wanted for my garden. I had a nice little khat plant for about 2 years, but that one sadly bit the dust due to crazy weather issues it’s different species from these guys, but similar type of medicine. One khat leaf under the tongue got me zinging really good. The taste was good too, even a little numbing… but I’m willing to bet, it’s an inferior medicine and taste to a fresh leaf off this species

So the leaves are not new, the plant arrived 1 month ago from Netherlands, it is 6 months old. Yes it is completely exposed to the sun. I grow it in coco coir and 20% perlite, as fertilizer I use "plagron coco a (2ml) and coco b (2ml)" and biobizz calmag (1ml) and plagron ph down (3ml) all in demineralised water approximately every 4/5 days

Your soil is great. Ferts are good. In regular doses but this is your problem. In my experience shade is best/ very littlw morning sun and no more than 4 hours direct morning sun. Take it from me they do beat in diffuse lighting

Add some organic matter friend. Coffee grounds are excellent. And some slow release organic fertilizer as well. I fertilize like once wvery 2 months if that. Especially with good orgajic matter breaking down in the soil.

Ok, ty, I also have some compost, should I add that too or just coffee grounds? Ah, I noticed that at night and in the early morning around 6 am, the leaves rise again and in the morning around 9 am they fall again.

It doesn't seem to recover, today I made it a mini greenhouse for humidity, but still nothing, some leaves at the tips have turned brown but they are not dry. Maybe overfert?

Now it's like this, I potted it into clean soil and cut the 3 leaves with the brown tips. I don't have a photo of the cut leaves.

Im gonna be totally honest with you. It doesnt really look that bad. The heat here does the same with mine during the day. They perk up some at night.

I wanna say you are doing wverything right. Just give it some time and dont over think it. Sometimes the shock of travel will do it. You should start seeing some growth soon

At least 2 years. At least. I had flowers on mine and they are about 1 year and one half but its false flowering.

Hey y'all, how's it going?
I just got myself some 11 fresh novo berries in the mail, and I'm realizing I don't know jack about the plant other than it's hard to grow. I read that you're supposed to germinate in coco, but I only have peat on hand, is that OK? Is there a tek I should give a read?
EDIT: I found this, I'm not sure how accurate it is? Sounds about right: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/1445338#1445338

Hard to grow? Not in the slightest. You just need some shade and some soil slightly acidic. Coco coir is not needed. When you sow the seeds just keep them moist the entire time. After they pop ease up on the water. I water mine weekly. Its not hard at all man.

I should try to grow these again someday. I got some novo berries about 10 years ago from the marketplace. A couple germinated and made it about a month and died. I think I was trying to keep the soil alkaline under fairly bright lights, which are both probably reasons why it didn't work.
