Mine is planted in super poor soil (desert) so I'm sure the boosted nitrogen is really helping. It's also been growing faster this year compared to last

Show some pics. I hear nitrogen make them put some gnarly growth.

I grew this out from a pup a few years back. It was left inside and etiolated bad for about 1.5 yrs
Growth since I planted in ground

Growth past couple weeks

A few of the pups. There's about 3 more. They are just coming up

It's on automatic daily watering. And i piss on it when i get home. Chickens and dogs roam the yard and they do their business also. Pkus whatever squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits that come through.
And there's an aloe Vera in with it that sprouted from a neighboring plant. I leave it there to kinda soak up some of the water, so I don't drown the SP. Aloe Vera are super invasive

Etsy is a good website, lots of small farmers selling different species of plants/cacti… also tons of different seeds. I’ve gotten some goodies on there in the past. Def worth checking out

Best wishes on your future grafting projects I love the satisfaction of having a graft stick and then seeing it take off. Definitely a pleasure in life that I enjoy.
On a side note… your name made me laugh. I’ve been battling fungus gnats on and off for years. I’m currently fighting them inside and was treating my seedlings with BT water earlier when I saw Your post. The solid yellow avatar is a nice touch bro I’m actually off to buy some more mosquito dunks and yellow sticky traps. I was doing good for several months, and recently they’ve blown up hard. So apparently the battle must continue…
Good vibes your way FungusGnat

Good luck brother. I hope it goes well

I just tried my first two grafts today. The seedlings were bigger than the scions so I only tried two incase they didn't take.

I hope it works out for you. It can be tricky sometimes to get down. But as long as your rings line up… really, as long as they intersect at some point… they have a shot of making it. Just try not to disturb them too much for a few days to a week.
Did you mean to say that the seedlings were bigger than the stock (graft stock)? … the scion is the seedling that is being grafted
