agreed, in my opinion they are some of the coolest looking actives. they produce some amazing visuals in the upper doses compared to other species. ive noticed i can kind of "cheat" experiencing a 100+ grams of fresh gyms dose by supplementing a portion of that with the comparable amount of cubes or caerulescens. (so it wouold be like 50 grams gyms fresh and either a couple grams dried cubes or a plump little weilii or two).

Nice finds fellas! The weather has been very nice lately. I bet we start seeing many more posts.
May 20th still finding ovoids.

A couple caerulescens on the same day.

I think I found a short psychedelic staircase too Nitro.

Nice ones everyone.
Ok, so this is my first time finding an actual “cluster” of ovoids!
Each time I go to this creek, I always find a them. But the biggest so-called clusters have only been in pairs. I have found a handful or so within a 1 foot proximity of each other, but they are always singles and will be at varying growth stages. So they aren’t these beautiful bouquets or clusters you guys always post pics of.
Is it typical to get quite a few single ones popping up in a 40 by 40 yard area, but rarely find clusters in that same area? The book descriptions say they are typically found in clusters, but that hasn’t been my experience so far. I’m also not finding them in grasses, just in decayed wood, or growing below a log.

Once u find last year's best buried wood they shud show u more clusters. At least your onto good river spot. Happy hunting congrats to your first cluster spot. Spread them stem butt's back to your spot plus make your own beds for epic success 🙌

Awesome! Fingers crossed.
Yep, I take some of the old ones and some slug-eaten ones and chop up and put into a wood chip pile. I also leave some of the icky ones on location to spread. I sometimes have to hide them or mush between peeling bark because I think other hunters must hunt here as well.
I’m surprised I’ve only seen one “competitor” so far.🤣
Once I find my own big patches, I’ll stop squirreling away the little finds, and spread the love.

Transplanted a SB of mycelium last year to a good spot that gets gutter run off. Hadn’t thought to check since it hasn’t been too long, but guess they like all the rain. Snail hitched a ride…

First cube of the season!
Edit! Found an ovoid coming up in the woods. It's very low light and I took several mosquito bites to get a photo. Just wanted to show cubes and ovoid on the same day. Maybe I can get out to the weilii spot soon and find the trio. #goals haha
And some gymns because all actives matter.
