Scientific name. It does make me curious what the local name actually is. Here stuntzii are simply Blue Ringers. Zapotecorum have a few.. copied from wiki
According to Richard E. Schultes the Zapotec name translates as "Crown of thorns mushroom".[3] Other sources give the Zapotec name as badao zoo translated as "hongo borracho", "drunken mushroom".[4]

Just managed to order some miraculix kits, so I should have somewhat objective and accurate potency numbers soon for Ps neoxalapensis and the two strains of Ps papuana I fruited.

Manure is high in soluble silicon. cow manure is up to 307g silicon per kilo. That is a considerable amount. That's not saying that all of that silicon is biologically available to any one organism, or "soluble" for that matter. Grass stalks are rich in silicon as well as wood particularly hardwoods.
https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/article/jswme/19/2/19_2_150/_article
Coir has a good amount but most is bound up in crystal form.
Peat moss has quite a bit in its soluble form.
I'll probably get some wollastonite to mess around with. That's calcium silicate and has a high % of soluble silicon.

Another Psilocybe Gandalfiana almost ready. For what exactly I'm not sure yet. One of the outdoor pots is showing some surface activity so I'd like to get more going, but my gut keeps telling me indoor attempt. The last one went outside so I may just give it a try.

If you want to be a vendor on the shroomery you need to go through the proper channels. No sales are allowed otherwise.

Yeah... that.
20 posts. No trade ratings. Asking for hundreds of euros with a rush to get in on it vibe... Not sketchy at all.
People here would love you so much more if you got your post count up and did giveaways of free spore prints in the marketplace SomeGuys.
I mean me personally, I don't know what it's like to be disabled, poor as hell, and give out thousands of prints on here for free. Not at all... Not like this exact thread and place is a place where we all hook each other up for free with cool shit all the time like we like each other.
It's ok folks. Those species names are enticing I know, but the truth is it's all just going to end up right here anyway in a short time regardless of who foots the bill. I've handed a few coins over when need be in the past and I share.
Don't even get me started on profiteering from bio piracy.
What % of your profit are you donating to the natives/locals SomeGuys? Have you talked to the sponsor vendors about buying your packs?

Why don't you just give them away on the shroomery marketplace? Every day there are people giving away prints/swabs of all possible species. It makes no sense to try to sell a print for 35 euros when you can get infinite free prints there.

Basically standing in the middle of a market where hundreds of people are giving the same thing away for free and trying to charge a car payment. Probably not gonna have mush luck.

Didn't even offer to grease the wheels first with some promotional material.
Just bend over and skip the lube.

Yeah...I am a taxonomist and work with my teachers and herbariums...no need to "donate" prints to anybody, I don't owe anybody anything and don't empathize that 35€ a print is too expensive for you...get a job I've been around for quite some time and I'm the reason (truly) most these species are common names. Species like banderillensis and neoxalapensis being "scattered" for only around 10-15 years with no grow logs besides Jake oncid...Just because someone is poor or expects things for free doesn't mean they are. Like I said, I put the post here and do what you want with it as I've sold every print I've had for 6 years. So don't worry about the market for these prints, they are covered. Also, you should take a trip to any forest yourself(get a passport first) rent a car, drive 2 hours minimum everyday TO the forest, walk 8 hours a day (attempt to find a mushroom), drive 2 hours back.... june-november and then give your stuff out for free. Cheap bastards always want the cool stuff without respecting how or what is done to get it. I do plenty for the endangered forests and just because a couple locals live 30 minutes near by, littering their coca cola bottles praising tlaloc...doesn't mean I owe "donations" to them either. Who are you to put a price on someone's work? My name is used around social media with reviews of my work since 2018. The only way these species would end up on this site is because of me...or Alan. Alan rarely brings prints back from forests as he does similiar things to me, "giving back to the community" and donating (working with) local herbariums. With all due respect too, the only reason wavyedge got neoxalapensis is because someone who actually supported pioneers in ACTUAL MYCOLOGYl/taxonomy/bio prospecting (NOT just growing a tub of mushrooms and considering yourself a credit to society) supported me and got bulk prints to get these species into Canada (they never have been).
So , I'll say it again. If there are hoops to jump through to be a vendor on shroomery...I've already contacted the team when I signed up. If you have such a problem with people selling work (spending my own time and money 5 months of a year to collect) then you need to get real. You have no idea what your talking about. Even more well known people like Alan charge a price of a print...are you serious?
Please do tell me who and how many of those species from Veracruz make their way on this site. Would love to be proven wrong

Yeah, we have quite a few members that do exactly what you just described and still give away all the prints for free. We also have members all over the world so we don't need to travel, we just share prints from our region. For example, I share Psilocybe cyanescens, azurescens, and ovoids freely when I find them. I have probably sent hundreds of prints into the world, if not thousands, and I have never asked for anything in return or thought of myself as important. Literally thousands of other people have done the same here since the start of the shroomery.
What I actually have a problem with is your attitude, it's pretty shitty. If that's the way you want to be then you probably want to find another place to post as you won't last here. We have tons of people doing AcTuAl MyCoLoGy WoRk and don't need you.
