How long can you leave a tub in fruiting conditions? Going away on an unexpected trip for a week when my 2nd flush was due

Hello guys,
my tub with Golden Teachers is about 2 weeks into fruiting conditions. I harvested the main bulk of the first flush last weekend and this week it has grown about 4 or 5 much thicker and bigger fruits, but it's obviously slowing down considerably.
I have just found out i have to travel out of town for 8 days due to an emergency when i was due to start my 2nd flush.
What is the best course of action here, leave the tub as is and just let it ride? can the mycelium die in this time frame due to not enough moisture? or is the only risk that it could spawn some new fruit which would sporulate and the whole tub would stop fruiting?
Was wondering if doing this and then starting the 2nd flush when i return would be the best course forward.
OR
Should i dunk and start the 2nd flush right before i leave, and keep my fingers crossed that the 2nd flush doesn't start to fruit until about the 6th or 7th day?
Just wondering what the best course of action to try and not waste a whole tub after the 1st flush since i wont be around to keep an eye on it.
Thanks!

The way I see it you have two options.
1. Pick all viable fruit before you leave and put the tub in the refrigerator. It should slow all growth to a crawl without killing the entire tub. Bring it back to room temp when you get home for 24 hours and then do a medium mist, and hope for a second flush.
2. Pick all the viable fruits before you leave and let it run its course. The fruits you come home to will probably have sporulated, but the fruits will be ready to dehydrate. If you have spores everywhere and want to try a third flush look up Beefs punisher tek. Should get all the spores off the sub and rehydrate it.
Hope this helps!! 🍄

I had a similar thing happen to me I didn't have a fridge big enough for my tub so I got a Digital Temperature Controller Thermostat took everything out of my freezer set the temp to 37 degrees and it didn't fruit for the entire 2 weeks I was gone. Took it out 3 days later it fruited.
good luck becareful not to freeze the mycelium it will die.
