Could perhaps be P. ovoideocystidiata. I see blue on the cap, last picture in the first post.

dont think these are psilocybe. I see what youre referring to but I dont think its result of the usual blue bruising seen from damage to psilocybe. could be camera?

I believe I agree, however that bruise is indeed a green blue but upon further distress shows no more signs of bruising. When cut the stipes aren't bruising, the spores are brown/cocoa when dry and purple/brown when wet. My brain says Agrocybe of some type from visual cues but some pointers aren't adding up.
Not referenced in the East coast but, I'm thinking "Agrocybe putaminum" The previous gardener had spent time in many national parks so it would surprise me if they carried some spores with them by accident...?

Idk what they are exactly, agrocybe pediades does seem pretty accurate but they’re defo not psilocybe or don’t have that classic psilocybe look about them anyways

As OP states it is faint. Ovoids apparently bruise quite intensely.
Agrocybe is also a good suggestion, thinking A. praecox cluster.
In situ shots would be helpful, as usual.

Yes, definitely not pediades, agree with something like praecox. My vision is very blurry at the moment, got a severe eye infection, can only open one eye now. Got a fucking bug in my eye driving motorbike one evening a few days ago. Got back from the hospital last night. On several antibiotics and diazepam, so will take a break from here and hopefully get back soon. If I don't get blind, that is. Wish me luck.
