In MI, they can't legally make you blow more than 3 times. One time they had a broken breathylizer.. I was shitty faced, hammered drunk, and I blew zeros 3 times, while they were trying to get it to work... they had to let me go.
True story..

Bogus or not, you shouldn't have been pulled. Sorry bro. Drive straight, walk, or be friendly with the local sheriff.
To be clear: I don't fault people for doing (nonviolent) crime. But I absolutely do fault people for doing crime poorly enough to get caught with evidence.

It was just a case of being on the road in Simi valley after 2am. The cop had over 200 dui arrests in 2 years. In her report she wrote that the reason for the initial stop was that my driver side tires touched the line.
I can't complain too much though because there were plenty of times I should have gotten a DUI and didn't. I once had triple vision and a bunch of cops passed me on the freeway. Or maybe it was just one...

I've got true stories that are better than your fairytales..
So I fault you for bad story telling.

My public defender told me to plead guilty to the alcohol charge because a Ventura county jury would string me up by the balls on the weed charge at trial. Then the judge charged me like, $5500 for that legal advice because public defender fees depend on ability to pay and since I wasn't collecting any government aid it was determined that I wasn't so broke that I couldn't pay regardless of whether or not I was employed or had any money in the bank.
One of my friends pleaded guilty to DUI (first offense) but the judge went long and hard on him because there was a one hitter in the car.
For my felony cannabis manufacturing charge, I started with a sharp experienced public defender for the bail hearing but had him recommend a political establishment private lawyer to negotiate my guilty plea, and the felony was wiped clean after 18 months.
Took the opposite strategy with my DUI. This lawyer took cases he could win at trial. There should be a portrait of him at my bar.
