I added some spent Myc to a vine plant I have and some mushies sprouted. I'm wondering if they're safe or should I be concerned.

Take a picture.
Almost certainly fine though as long as they look okay and aren't covered in like mold.

It's not as uncommon as you might think. I've seen clusters of exotics sprout from individual grains that were spread into a pot of planting soil. Grains provide a lot of nutrition and make for healthy mushrooms.

In an uncontrolled setting there are still many possibilities for other mushrooms.
Leucocoprinus birnbaumii is more likely than any other mushroom to pop up in a potted plant, and they are definitely poisonous... to a degree.

I've wondered if anything will grow from spreading some mycelium in my basil plants. It's a large plant that i water only once or twice a week? And would they be basil flavored? lol

Works great and the basil loves the interaction.

This just happened to me too. I was grinding up some Gymnopilus luteofolius last week and I guess the spores went airborne because just today I noticed my house plant was sprouting these guys. I tried to ID them and it looks like they are the same as the ones I was grinding up. Should I just harvest them once they are a few inches tall? I did some research on how to dry and store them but in general I’m just starting to learn about cultivation and would love any advice how to keep my house plant cultivation set up going lol
