People of color, Do you really want to know your president
    #2875731 - 07/10/04 12:56 PM (13 years, 10 months ago)

People of color, Do you really want to know your president thinks of you?

?During the last campaign I went over to talk to those folks and you know what? They?re all Black People! I was amazed; me and my Secret Service boys were the only White People in the room. I told my bodyguards right then and there to lock and load and be ready to move until they got me outta there. It was tense, I?ll tell you."

What the hell is that? How about a source or even a name for that matter. The fact that this is the first I'm hearing of it just about ensures it is total bullshit.

So I guess what I'm trying to figure out now is:

a) Were you being intentionally deceptive in providing that fake quote and not citing the humor-based source?
b) Are you so incomprehensively stupid that you thought a website called The Spoof was legitimate?
c) Did you just make an honest mistake and forget to provide a link?

My guess would be b.

I think the evidence bears that out quite nicely.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

Classic flaw of democracy. People that get their hard news from the Spoof have just as much electoral power as a nobel prize winner in Economics.

The Spoof? Someone please shoot me now. I fear the future of democracy.

More like O'Reilly talks over or disconnects any of his guests who oppose his views and make salient points.

He dosent let them go off what he wants to hear, eg dodging the question. If his sections could be longer, better debates could be at hand. But has certain questions he wants answered, and most people usually dodge them.
