Zero luck from my unnamed source
0/25 germinated
despite pictures that suggest otherwise, they come as dried, unfleshed seed in a bag with a desiccant pouch
and even if they sold berries, shipping takes like 3 weeks to my location, so I'm pretty sure it's not gonna work out.
I don't know if I can call it a scam, because... language barriers. I tried to explain why I wanted fresh berries many times and was only confusing the source.

I recently lost my entire set up to some invaders that got into my growing area. I lost literally everything except a palm tree. now i tried some seeds but they didnt sprout. and now its winter so i will have to wait anyway.

Since many of these sources do not seem to offer viable seedstock, when is usually the season for the freshest, red berries?

Damn man that's a bummer .
Do the leaves you have collected have any numbing sensation when chewed? And does the tea numb your mouth/throat?
My room-mate has a pretty good sized coca plant, probably at least 5 years old if I had to guess but I'm really not sure...a while back I nibbled on one tiny leaf that was going to be dropped by the plant soon, it didn't have ANY numbing sensation at all . I'm not sure what variety of coca it is though. I'm not sure if it's a low-alkaloid variety and/or if the plant just needs more ideal conditions/more warmth & more sunlight to produce alkaloids.
I've had coca-tea once before...It was made with coca-tea packets from peru that weren't de-cocanized, IIRC I placed like 6 to 8 tea-packets into one small cup of tea. That cup of tea made my mouth/throat numb and absolutely had a buzz to it, I didn't have any caffeine in my system that day and I def felt perked up buzzin' and focused from the coca-tea. It wasn't quite what I'd consider a "high", it was on the level of a strong coffee-buzz but better and with out the jitters of coffee.

Ive never had a novogranatense last more than 5 years. I hate that plant actually but now my truxillo are doing greeat. My last 2 big plants died. It was all the temperature. I have a good mentor in peru who has guided me well. He has given me tips and i check the weather where the seeds originate and adjust accordingly. Youd be surprised they do better in thw winter here than in the summer.
What wxactly went wrong? Led lights in a cold garage will work wonders if you cant keep them inside over harsh winters.

The best to chew imo is when the leaves are dry. Layer abunch in your hand. Then in the center put a pinch of baking soda. Wrap all the leaves like a fat burrito. Then stick the wad in your mouth and dont chew right away. Let your saliva soak the leavesthen slowly chew them up and just let it sit in the cheek. 3 wads of that and im nice and ready to get things done.
As for tea ive made it with ground up leaves and some baking soda. Let it sit for a while then add a splash of lemon juice and watch it fizz. Then drink it up like you would any coffee or tea.
