Help on picking a strain...
    #2869969 -

Im a noobie, planning on ordering some spores (from ralphster!!!).
Theres many that i would love to study. Just having a hard time choosing one, or two. Maybe some feedback or experiences would help me out. Im leaning toward cambodian, brazilian, Lipa Yai, Koh Samui,
Mazatapec, Orissa India, Z strain, F+, Texas, and John Allen.
I really want to study a strain that is potent, has few aborts, colonizes relatively quickly, and has strong mycelial growth. Size is not necessarily important, quality and potency are more important
Also, if any of these strains are difficult to study for a noobie, that would be great to know. Ill probably use the PF tek method with BRF/verm. Anyone every bought any of these strains from ralph before and can attest to quality?
Thanks, this is my first post and i love the shroomery, it is full of great information and i find the message board especially helpful

All cubensis have the same growth paramaters.

Just pick one with a cool name

Magash I've seen a few postings of yours and this and other sites. Why do U recommend those for a newbie? I'm asking because I value your opinion.

Both seem very easy to grow and I've always found them to be quiet potent.

I would not recommend Lipa Yai. That strain has the worst genetics of all the strains Ive seen.

Supposedly Cambodian colonize very quickly, have largish fruits and are quite potent. I've been leaning towards this strain myself for my first grow... That would be my suggestion, but I'm not talking from experience unfortunatly. Whatever strain you decide on, keep us updated with a grow log (assuming you have the free time).

Thanks for your feedback. Ill probably order cambodian and mazatapec as it is the july strain of the month. Does anyone have any exp with Z strain or F+ though, just out of interest.
