If you liked that I have had a great time listening to 90s video game jungle/drum and bass. Ace combat 3, ridge racer 4, acid house with a more upbeat squelchy bass line hits the spot sometimes but it still hits that sedating sweet spot with the jazz chords.

Can I just point something out to you? So like I said originally I djed for a long time and I can tell you with certainty that you are showing confirmation bias based on your own taste of music.
I could list many artists that do that for me now where Talamasca falls flat.
Just understand that what you experience is something another person will experience on a different style of music.
I have listened to mono poly a lot and love his music, I once got stuck ina 2 hr loop repeating the same track over and over.
When I play the track to someone else they'll just say it's cool and move on.
Don't search for meaning too deeply, respect the music and respect the music tastes of the people around you, all you can hope is that they will find the same joy from other just as you have found from Talamasca.
If I had to play you some 180bpm psy that get me going you would not be interested most likely but that doesn't diminish my love for the music or its ability make me transcend

Many years ago I swore by Cydonia - in fear of a red planet. But I don't care for that style anymore. Give me some noisegust or baphomet engine.

Me and another Shroomery member listened to some of your set while tripping last weekend. It was alright. We like psytrance a bit more melty and fractured. But we tried. Ended up listening to dub techno for half our session, which was a first. Fully melted our heads.
