Light Therapy and Bananas!
    #2871645 - 07/09/04 03:55 AM (12 years, 7 months ago)

It has been proven that certain wavelengths of light affect your moods and well-being.  It may be on a sub-conscious level, but it's there.  For example, if you have the tube-type flourescent lighting in your house, it's usually the 'cool' color.  What you want to do is get some 'warmer' lighting.
Here's a chart for reference on these effects:

Also, you could maybe get a small high intenstiy light such as an HPS bulb and grow some primo buds while you enjoy the effects of the 'warmer' light.  Possibly, the act of caring for a plant or two and ending up with some free smoke would make you guys a little happier.

bananas!  that's another thing you fickle liquid.

bananas have been PROVEN to alleviate depression.  they say if you are feeling a little down, eat a banana.  something to do with the potassium i think.  before you know it, you won't even be thinking of being depressed!

maybe that's why monkeys always seem so happy!

by the way, i can't read everything on that chart either...oh well.  i'll try to find another one.

Bananas are good. I always add em to my cereal. And sometimes to ice cream and other stuff.

Makes some people happy, the more inhibited my seretonin system is, the happier I am. The last thing I need is more seretonin floating around in my head.

The sun drives me nuts, I absolutly hate sunny days. Overcast days Im fine, but sunny days Im miserable.
