Are there any in here? I'd like to find some people in the area to talk about hunting.

Same here, Blind Gaurdian. Any luck finding actives? I hear constantly that yes, they are possible to find here, and then again from people who say it is impossible. It's starting to drive me mad.

I'm down. Down with OPP. The Ontario Provincial Police? No, not them. the Original Philipino Posse? Nope. Other People's Pussy? Yers sir that's the one. Also, I'm down with mushrooms. In my area of BC, there aren't many actives if any, but holy fuck the woods are bustlin' with all kinds of other mushrooms, some edible, some not yet identified. There aren't any conifer froest species I ought to eye up are there?

Same here, it's confusing when I see hundreds of mushrooms in my yard, yet people tell me actives cant produce in central B.C

What part of the province do you live in? I'm in Kelowna, and I know it's a helluva lot dryer than the coast, but my yard and my surrounding mountains and whatnot really do look lush and if we could just get some constant rain, I feel like actives should be able to flourish. I get so excited when people say that you can pick here, but then I read some more and others say it's too far off the coast. It's toying with my emotions, and I'm on the brink of giving up. I dont want to waste my time searching every nook and cranny of habitat if there's literally no possibility for actives, but a definite answer is nearly impossible to find ANYWHERE on the internet.

I'm from B.C. On the coast myself. I never though I'd find them but in a week I've found two active species. Just takes determination and good walking shoes. G'luck!
