AA 75x Sterilization Times - How long is enough?

Just got an AA 75x and wonder how much time & pressure is recommended for proper sterilization?
I just tried 4x 3T bags with 4 full quarts millet each (not myco quarts), weighing around 2800g/~6.7lb per bag, using the insert. Did 2h 40min at 17 to 20 PSI, after a 20min vent. Used cold water at the start.
Found a few references on Shroomery, ranging from 2h to 4h, with varying loads, mostly w/o insert. Seems like most load a lot more into these, so I figured I don't need to go over 3h, but questioning this decision.
Any input is much appreciated, getting ready for the next batch... Maybe go over 3h to be safer?

I run about the same amount at 15psi but I go for a minimum 3-3.5hrs just to be safe, I’d go longer if I had the patience.

Thanks for the input! Any reason you don't go over 15PSI? Bags melted?

The sterilizer works the same as a small one, it's just bigger. Sure, you could go up in temperature if it allows, but the bags you use (probably polypropylene) will melt at 168oC.
You also do not want to exceed whatever pressure the manufacturer states, else the pot may explode.

This will help you understand what's going on in there at your altitude at 20psi.
If 168C is too hot for your bags, don't do that.

I run the Presto at 17+ PSI as well... (lil magnet on the wiggle weight). The AA 75x says ~260F/~127C at 20PSI. I assume the extra temp, compared to 15PSI helps with killing endospores and other tuff stuff.

Cool article, thank you, similar info in the AA 75x manual. I am under 2000ft, but if it does 20PSI w/o stressing the 3T bags too much, why not...
