Week 5 Issue

Hey all, I am new here and to growing mushrooms. I got my first grow bag back in January and inoculated it on January 28th. It was progressing nicely, now on week 5 since inoculation, I have noticed that the last 2 weeks, it doesn’t seem to be showing any new growth or movement. I’m going to give it another week or two, but I am curious if anybody sees something of concern that I do not. My thinking is that perhaps the process failed due to a short cold front that took place in February, my home may have gotten below 50 Degrees in the room I keep the bag. Ignore the tape in the images, I placed those there to mark and measure any new developments. Any thoughts and advice you all can provide would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Looks like the fight with bacteria got the best of it. Looks like an AIO bag which are tough to begin with, and depending on how you inoculated it may be an issue.
I ran with vender grain bags and substrate till I failed too much. If you’re serious, get into agar and grains.

You've got a sizable amount of grain colonized. I agree there may be some bacteria going on in there.
If all your eggs are in this basket (bag) then I would throughly mix all the layers together without opening the bag and then kinda shake the bag up and down to get everything to settle back into a homogenous brick shape. See if you can get it fully colonized. Then try to fruit once you do.

I’ll third that.
Lotta bacteria going on but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a flush out of it.

Thank you all for the feedback and help! I received a response from the manufacturer of the bag, who suggests that it could be normal mycelium enzyme secretion, and that as long as there isnt an odor, it should be good, even though it seems to be taking longer than expected to progress. What are your thoughts on this option? is there any other way to tell if it is bacteria or mycelium secretion other than odor?

The only time myc secretes anything is to fight contamination like bacteria. They’re just trying to cover their ass.

Yeah that would be my response if I sold shitty all in one bags. It is not normal to have metabolites unless your myc is fighting off bacteria. With that said it might still work, or it might not. At least they replied back to you though. Lots of vendors won’t even do that .
